Terence Wesley proudly serves as the Principal of Cleveland Street School, bringing 18 years of experience in education and a steadfast commitment to academic excellence, student growth, and community partnership. Now in his eighth year serving the Orange Public Schools, Mr. Wesley has been a dedicated leader focused on building strong instructional systems, positive school culture, and meaningful family engagement.
Before leading Cleveland Street School, Mr. Wesley served as the Assistant Principal at Rosa Parks Community School, where he supported instructional improvement, teacher development, and culture-building initiatives. Prior to his work in Orange, he served as the Instructional Leader at a charter school in New York City through the East Harlem Tutorial Program, where he strengthened curriculum implementation and led data-driven instructional practices.
At Cleveland Street School, Mr. Wesley is committed to fostering a culture of high expectations, integrity, and collaboration. His leadership centers on rigorous instruction, small-group learning, social–emotional support, and ensuring that every scholar is known, valued, and challenged to reach their fullest potential.
A strong believer in the power of community, Mr. Wesley continues to prioritize partnerships with families, staff, and local organizations to ensure that Cleveland Street School remains a vibrant, innovative, and supportive place for all students.
